The book also includes a load of information on speeding up your metabolism so that you can eat more calories and not gain
weight! During your 4-week reset, we recommend avoiding alcohol, prioritizing sleep, eating organic as much as possible & eating enough calories to fuel your body (because under-eating is one of the main causes of a slow metabolism)!
Foods that tend to slow our metabolism and cause inflammation includes package foods, white flour & artificial sweeteners. We love seeing our clients switch to whole grain (or in some cases, gluten-free)! Not only does it increase your fiber intake, it can help lower food cravings.
